frontal baldness

Hair loss may begin to appear at the start of the forehead, leading to what is known as frontal baldness. This pattern of hair loss will continue until the hairline fully recedes. Frontal baldness can occur as general thinning of the hair, with no noticeable hair loss. Thinning can occur along the hairline, i.e. frontal baldness, or as an overall loss of hair throughout the entire scalp. Growth in sensitivity to the male sex hormone ‘androgen’, such as testosterone - which defines male characteristics - around certain areas of the scalp, can cause frontal baldness. That androgen surge that occurs at puberty, causes growth of pubic and auxiliary hair, acne and also influences men’s frontal baldness; although it is only the vertex and frontal areas of the scalp that are affected. The temporal and occipital (side and back) regions are always unaffected. Over time hair follicles reduce in size, so much that they cannot grow new hair to replace the hair lost. This is more common on the hairline, hence frontal baldness. Male hair loss is hereditary. However, it has been said that thinning hair process and frontal baldness, can be slowed down and perhaps reduced with the use of certain herbal and drug based inventions.

Frontal baldness can be alarming when first discovered, as the male self-esteem takes a bit of a knock, but once acceptance is made, then it doesn’t have to be the end of the world! The last thing you want to be doing is trying to cover up nature. At the first sign of frontal baldness, or any other for that matter, an ideal response would be to shave it all off. This look will make you appear confident and self assured. It also means that your head and face will have a clean, slick look and to a high percentage of the population it also gives a sexy appearance, which has obvious advantages!
